Hello from Bayou Country! I have come to realize that the GWRRA rallies are like a big family reunion everytime! We are here in Lafayette, LA meeting new people and enjoying some nice spring weather.
There is a Mardi Gras themed ball tonight, there was a live Country Cajun Band last night; the GWRRA Louisianna Chapter really knows how to keep the riders entertained!
We are hearing all good things about the Cruiserboots! That is one of the best parts of this job, listnening to compliments all day long about our product! I would be very miserable if I had to listen to complaints all day.
The rain is on the way and I hope everyone has a safe dry trip home!

New riders
I am looking so forward to going to Lafayette, LA for our next rally! I understand it is going to be lots of fun with live music and great food. We had the pleasure of meeting teh show coordinators Brent and Roxie in Texas and they are fun folks!
I am taking my bike to this show and hope to get some good riding in while in Louisiana! You see I am a new rider and some places make me a little nervous. I am constantly telling myself to keep my head up, look at where you want to go and the bike will follow. Another great tip someone shared with me was to push forward on the handle for the direction you are turning in. When you push against something you tend to lean in the same direction. Of course what helps the most is seat time!
One thing I can say about being the "driver" is you definately do not get to see as much scenery while driving. The feeling of freedom while driving the bike and being in control is what makes me want to be in the driver seat and gets me back on every time!
I would love to hear some other good tips for new riders!
